Irritable Bowel Syndrom

Irritable bowel syndrom is not a rare disease. Irritable bowel syndrom usually leads to abdominal pain and discomfort firstly. In time, a person experiences diarhea, depresion and chronic pelvis pain. IBS is a disorder which can be characterized roughly by abdominal pain, bloating, cramping and constepation. Many people can fight bravely against the symptoms with right diet and stress management, but, unfortunately, some people can be disabled because of IBS. That sort of suffering persons is unable to work and travel even short distances.

It is difficult to name the reason of iritable bowel syndrome. Medics reckon the cause of iritable bowel syndrome can be different in different people. It is a fact that about 20 percent of American adults have symptoms of syndrom. Women suffer from this disease more often than men. Women have more symptoms during their menstrual periods because of the reproductive hormones that can lead to the worsening of the symptoms. Usually adults begin to suffer from IBS before the age of 35. Many people experience IBS symptoms periodically, some have constant worsening of symptoms over time. Researches believe that large meals, medicines, barely, wheat, alcohol and drinks with cafeine can lead to the worsening of irritable bowel syndrom symptoms. They also associate conflicts, stress and emotional upsets with the worsening of symptoms.
